QTL

With the help of Veronique JORGE, these positions were calculated by a "rule of three" using the difference (A) on bp of two markers (mapped on the genome), corresponding to the difference (B) on cM of these markers . Then a position of QTL was calculated using the difference in cM, between the position (m) of marker (the closest one of the terminals of the QTL) and one of the positions (q) in cM of the QTL (the result of this difference must be positive). Hence the results: m - (A / B * (m - q)) assuming that m > q and m > A / B * (m - q). A / B is the number of base pairs per cM at chromosome where are localized the QTL and markers.
