Phenotypes

Ephesis, for Environment and Phenotype Information System, is a GnpIS module dedicated to the integration of experimental trial on Genotype X Environment studies.
It allows to store data from any plant species studied at the INRA, whether annual species like wheat or perennial species like vine or trees.

You can find more information on the Ephesis project on it's dedicated page.

September 6th 2013

The phenotyping module 13.2 is now available. See the release notes page for more information about changes.

Changes

  • Factors, modalities and treatments handling:
    • The observed subject (Plant, Plot, Bloc, ...) can now include several factors in addition to the genotype. Any treatment, ie combination of modalities, can be integrated, queried and exported. For instance: genotype + nitrogen, genotype + hydric stress, genotype + nitrogen + biotic stress, etc....
  • Elaborated/calculated observations (phenotype or other) at Trial level:
    • Integration of elaborated phenotype observations without the plot/repetition level.
  • Phenotyping campaign integration: possibility to group observations within a Trial, for instance by year.
  • Interface improvement and bug fixes.
