Short Bio
PhD Thesis in population genetics. Post-doc in statistical genetics. Work in the genomics field since 2000, developing methods and tools to annotate and explore genomes throught “omics” data analysis and integration.
Expert in transposable elements and repeats annotation for which he leads the development of the REPET package, Works to understand the impact of repeats on genome and epigenome structure and evolution in many different species.
Expert in data management, data integration, and distributed information system.
