Short Bio
PhD Thesis in population genetics. Post-doc in statistical genetics. Work in the genomics field since 2000, developing methods and tools to annotate and explore genomes throught “omics” data analysis and integration.
Current activity
Head of URGI, URGI platform scientific manager.
Involved in the "wheat initiative" expert working group on the development of an international wheat information system, lead the European Transplant project work package on plant genome complexity, member of the management committee of COST action TD0801 “Challenges in Statistics for sequencing a plant genome at 1000 euros”, member of the “bioinformatics” committee of the Plant breeding INRA department, nominated member of the scientific advisory board of Plant health and environment INRA department.
